Air - Virgin Suicides Soundtrack
.............................................................

I remember listening to this album quite a bit while I was working at some dot com company in NYC and living in NJ. I would listen to this on my daily commute. Anytime I that I listen to this album it brings up visions of balmy spring days with sunlight so bright that it makes everything look like a dream and it all should be going in slow motion. I remember it was spring and the dandelion wish weeds were in full wishing bloom. I was listening to Air when I wrote this... "The Lushness of green has overcome me this morning. It's thick beauty presses down on me pushing me back in time to a scrapped knees playground where the magical lure of the dandelion's feathers are waiting to be blown into a memories breath and here I stand

deep breath - waiting to wish, waiting to dream. The dandelion stands tall amongst the plush moist grass that surrounds it in isolation. I reach down slowly yet with a frenzied hand and it is then I pluck the dandelion in an effort to rescue yet reality has a more selfish plan. With a harsh deep wind I strip the dandelion of all it's beauty and pray for something big as my wish feathers blow off into the nothing of the sky and the rotting stem of perfection is thrown on the pavement." Air's Virgin Suicide Soundtrack is dark and lovely the way it transports you into a throbbing daydream waiting to explode. The nostolgic innocent romantic sounds are stirred together with a lost hopelessness which are in perfect balance making this a must have for any day dreamer out there.
